With this ability, also comes the constant opportunity for distraction from engaging in a deep way in the relationships that are a part of our daily lives.  We write and speak in sound bites, and deep connection often takes a back seat to 160 characters and spaces (or less).

I encourage you to attend to those relationships which are most important to you.  Technology used well serves us well.  But used poorly, it can be disruptive to life and relationships, and it can make your world more difficult when we want it to make life better.  Make sure that from time to time you get face-to-face with those you love, and try to be with them without a piece of technology in your hands.  The live connection will do you well.
